Broker ceased to exist
Famous brokerage company MRC Markets declared bankruptcy in March, 2015. The broker had to make this move due to unfavorable circumstances when the Swiss franc surged against the major currencies. January 15, 2015, the Swiss National Bank unexpectedly abandoned the franc’s peg to the euro. The decision made the Swiss franc an overvalued currency. MRC Markets has a rich history. The company was founded in 1971 and provided a wide range of financial services, which included access to the stock, commodity, and currency markets. Today, you can find a lot of negative reviews about MRC Markets on the internet. Traders accuse the company of manipulation of trading information on the electronic trading platforms, non-payment of profits, and fraud.
