Broker ceased to exist
RVD Markets LTD declared bankruptcy and initiation of bankruptcy proceedings. The announcement was made June 20, 2015 on the broker’s official website. According to RVD Markets, the bankruptcy reason is ineffective hedging operations on the collapse of EUR against CHF at the beginning of the calendar year. Due to this the company lost almost all funds segregated for clearing positions of clients on liquidity providers’ accounts. During several months RVD Markets was trying to find private investments in order to stabilize the situation, however, all attempts failed. The company’s management made a decision to suspend trading and block deposits on clients’ trading accounts. At the moment, RVD Markets has started to make refunds to their clients in the order established by bankruptcy commission.
