Pacific Financial Derivatives Limited (PFD-NZ) was founded in 1991. It is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, but the company provides services to traders all over the world.
PFD acts as Derivatives Issuer (DI) under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. PFD offers brokerage services for trading currencies, metals, commodities, CFDs, indices and futures.
The company is authorized by the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority (FMA) and is a member of the Dubai Commodities Exchange. The broker is also an FDRS participant (an independent financial organization for settling disputes between traders and brokers).
The FMA supervises activity of financial companies to ensure better security to traders. In addition, regulated dealing centers must have at least $1 million in their account.
PFD offers only one trading platform, MetaTrader 4 (MT4). It provides effective tools for construction of graphs, an environment for developing custom tools (MQL), and mobile applications for iOS and Android. Another advantage of MetaTrader is a wide range of technical indicators and automated trading systems (Expert Advisors). Most importantly, a trader can use them even when working with other dealing centers.
In addition, PFD provides access to MT4 MultiTerminal designed for management of multiple Forex accounts.
Both PFDPro (MT4) and PFDTrader (MT4) accounts enable trading currencies, CFDs and futures. The broker executes deals using the STP/ECN technologies.
The minimum deposit for the PFDPro account is $1,000; the leverage is 1:100. The PFDTrader account type does not have limits for minimum deposit; the leverage is 1:300 for accounts with a balance of up to $5,000; and 1:100 for the rest.
PFD offers competitive spreads. On both accounts, the spreads for the EUR/USD pair are less than 1 pip.
To deposit funds, a trader can use bank cards, bank transfer, China Union Pay, Neteller, or Skrill.
To withdraw funds, a trader must fill in an online form on the site or send a paper form.

Client support service works around the clock from 10:00 Monday to 10:00 Saturday, New Zealand time (UTC +12). Clients can contact PFD specialists via e-mail, chat or Skype.
PFD has a user-friendly website that contains most of the information about the company. The training materials consist of a glossary and articles about Forex available only in English. The broker does not organize promotions and does not provide bonuses.
