Infin Markets review
About the company:
Founded in Cyprus in 2011, Infin Markets offers currencies and various CFDs for trading through two advanced platforms: MetaTrader 4 and NetTradeX.
Company. Security of funds
The broker is a part of IFCM Group, which has been taking part in development and introduction of new effective projects in the sphere of financial technologies for more than 10 years. The group also includes IFCMARKETS, registered in the British Virgin Islands, and CORP., which is managed by the IFC Markets brand and software development company NetTradeX Corp.
The Infin Markets brand belongs to Infin Markets Limited, authorized and regulated by the Security and Exchange Commission of Cyprus (CySEC).
The Cypriot financial observer applies certain rules and requirements for license holders and ensures that they are followed. For example, clients' funds should be kept in segregated accounts.
Besides, forex brokers are required to hold not less than €730,000 of net tangible assets to prove their healthy financial position.
As an additional guarantee of the customers' funds safety, all the companies controlled by CySEC are members of the compensation program. If the company goes bankrupt or stops trading, the fund can compensate customers up to 20,000 euros per person.
As Cyprus is a member state of the European Union, Infin Markets and other companies licensed by CySEC are also allowed to provide cross-border services in the EU in accordance with MiFID.
Infin Markets offers its clients two account types with similar fixed spreads on two platforms. Micro lots are available for trading only on demo accounts for beginners, where there is no need for deposit.
In addition, this brokerage company provides Islamic swap accounts that comply with the Sharia law.
The minimum deposit for trading with the company is $1,000, while most brokers require from 200 to 500 US dollars.
Trading terms largely depend on the platform, on which trading is carried out. So, trading through the NetTradeX terminal, customers are provided with Standard, Beginner, Demo accounts; through the MT4 terminal, with Standard, Micro, and Demo. Importantly, through the first platform, it is allowed to trade only in USD; trading through the second platform, the following currencies are available: USD, EUR, GBP, and JPY.
Phone dealing is available for all accounts through both platforms.
Clients can use analytical materials, which include economic calendar, Forex reviews, and technical analysis.
Spreads and commissions
Like most brokers with fixed spread, Infin Markets supports an interest-free trade. Spread for EUR/USD is 1.8 points, which is a good price. An average fixed spread for this pair in the forex market is 2.0 pips.
The maximum leverage provided by Infin Markets is 1:400. It is not the highest offer in the industry; however, such a proposal is far from being small.
Nevertheless, most Cypriot brokers offer even higher leverage, for example, up to 1:1,000. You can check a list of brokers with a leverage of up to 1:1,000 in our rating.
As we have already mentioned, Infin Markets supports two trading platforms: standard MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and NetTradeX.
NetTradeX has been developed by NetTradeX Corp. It is available for desktop devices with Windows operating system, as well as for mobile devices with iOS, Android and Windows Mobile.
